   Actually I had specifically bits in my mind. I was converting bytes in bits.   
   So yeah, in a way you can consider "byte" level.   
      
   And I was just giving an example of Huffman encoding, I didn't mean   
   specifically Huffman algo. And i think it would be difficult to build a tree   
   at asm level. I assume there would be any other algo in asm?   
      
   Like, we pack bits in some certain design, I tried to implement it, but I   
   think it is not that much efficient.
