From: jj4public@nospicedham.vfemail.net              So far, I could only find one method which uses AT keybord controller's port       64h.               mov al, 0fh        out 64h, al              But what about XT and the original PC computers? They don't have any port       64h yet. How to reboot such systems?              Also, is there other method? e.g. newer method which is available only on       newer computers? Something like power management, or may be accessing the       chipset? Brand/model specific method is fine by me, but must not rely on any       BIOS/firmware or existing OS.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
