I got rid of all my non-Pentium stuff a       while ago so my TBBS box is a P233. Needless to say it sits near idle a       lot. :)              > Gateway machine is running NT4 workstation. I've done a few       tests with the verious Windows IPX stacks and this seems to be required       to use SAP. (My assumption is that if you installed a nice Netware       stack it would work without any tweaking.)              > I'd say the most important thing is to make sure the network is up       > and running ok first, then try a telnetting localhost whilst your not       > dialed into the net ..       >       > I'll post my batchfiles on the TBBS box, with a few pointers on       > setting it up at it's end, and my NT settings if that will help       > anyone...              Good advice! We do need to get some network configuration information       up. I have successfully shared a drive from NT to a DOS box over IPX       using Microsoft Client for DOS. Also the eSoft site still has some tech       docs on the IPAD that also apply to TBBS.              http://techdesk.esoft.com/tech.5000/index.htm              Long live the multiline king. :)              - Mike              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
