From: npd_ddit@yahoo.com              i would like to know are there any good and FREE benchmark codes in C       or C++ , related to various fields, and which are nearly comparable to       SPEC benchmarks ???                     thanks !!               Ms Nikita Desai,        Lecturer ,        IT department,        DDU, Nadiad       [SPEC is just particular versions of a set of widely used freeware C       applications. If you don't need for your results to be perfectly       comparable with SPEC numbers, you can just use the various programs in       their freeware form. Like all benchmarks, of course, SPEC doesn't       really tell you anything other than how a compiler does with those       particular programs, and like most other popular benchmarks, compilers       have been tuned to do well on exactly the code that SPEC contains.       -John]              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
