       I want to work on compiler back-end. I knew of one: SUIF but alas   
   no Front-end available.   
      
      Is there a non-gcc, non-llvm back-end infratructure available with   
   front-end binaries/source ?

   p.s. If non available, then is llvm what I am looking for ?
