But since       I adviced you to use SQLCMD, it occurred to me that I should point       this out, since you may use SQLCMD for loading stored procedures and       whatnots in the future. But it is true that for just creating a       database, it is not likely to matter.              (Unless you script goes:               CREATE DATABASE "my new database"              of course, but 1) in that case you would notice pretty quick. 2) I've       never seen anyone to use double quotes with CREATE DATABASE, square       brackets seems to be a lot more common.)              --       Erland Sommarskog, SQL Server MVP, esquel@sommarskog.se              Links for SQL Server Books Online:       SQL 2008: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/sqlserver/cc514207.aspx       SQL 2005: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/sqlserver/bb895970.aspx       SQL 2000: http://www.microsoft.com/sql/prodinfo/previousversions/books.mspx              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
