Could it be that the       transaction log is very big in relation to the update activity in the       database?              > I am worried in the event of a DR, will I be able to fail over and       > make sure the DB will not get corrupt?              I don't know, but what do I know, is that you need to test anyhow,       no matter the state is 2 or 3. That is, you need to know that you       understand the procedure in case of a failover, and that the databases       are still accessible after a disaster. It seems like a good idea to       first test with one of the other databases.              --       Erland Sommarskog, SQL Server MVP, esquel@sommarskog.se              Links for SQL Server Books Online:       SQL 2008: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/sqlserver/cc514207.aspx       SQL 2005: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/sqlserver/bb895970.aspx              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
