Position: Performance Tester   
   Duration : 6 month    
      
   contract to hire   
   Location: Philly, PA	   
   Must be local enough to do F2F   
   Good communication skills.   
       
    Requirements   
   Performance testing   
   Familiarity with RESTful Web Services Familiarity with Microservices   
   Architectures Shell scripting   
   Root Cause Analysis experience   
   White Box Testing   
   Learning Management Systems (Blackboard, Canvas) Release Management   
   Familiarity with HTTP, Javascript, and Java errors   
       
       
   2+ years of Quality Engineering experience   
   BS Engineering/Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent experience   
   required Key Responsibilities   
   •                     Drive the performance testing strategy for the   
   Education Technology Platform   
   •                     Use production monitoring and logging to model   
   performance traffic   
   •                     Code appropriate scripts to handle load testing, soak   
   testing, stress testing, and performance profiling   
   •                     Create reports and in-depth analysis   
   •                     Maintain respective performance testing and load   
   generation environments   
   •                     Coordinate with Development to prioritize,   
   troubleshoot, and fix defects   
   •                     Work to deliver quick testing feedback in a Continuous   
   Delivery and Agile working environment   
   •                     Participate in release management and production   
   validation as needed   
   •                     Attend customer user sessions, refining test cases to   
   always be user-focused   
   •                     Maintain escaped defect targets
