   I have similar too... :(   
      
      
      
   I tried to connect to db2 from sql*plus and report builder.   
      
   Sql*plus succesfully made the connection with same error message (+same   
   error when I used select or desc (but I got the results))   
      
   Report builder didn't conenct, just thrown error.
