|    ODBC Connection to MS SQL Server    |
|    09 Nov 06 17:38:21    |
I am old MS Access user (I can feel your angry thoughts). For years I took       it for granted that I can link to an Oracle or MS SQL database with MS       Access. However, I now work in an environment dominated by Paradox users       who still store confidential data on their desktop systems. The director       of our IT department has told us that all data must be on a server, yet       none of the Paradox users know how to establish a link to an ODBC database-       not do I. Can you please direct me to a resource that can educate us how       to do this?              David Macias       Research Technician III       Institutional Research, Assessment, and Planning       (310) 243-2546       dmacias@csudh.edu              --       -------------------- http://NewsReader.Com/ --------------------       Usenet Newsgroup Service $9.95/Month 30GB              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
