From: user@domaininvalid.com              Zero is a mathematical term. In real terms, it means nothing. If I have       zero money, I'm in trouble. There cannot be zero elapsed time between 2       synchronous events, or a zero year.              Western babies are 1/(365.25 * 24 * 60) years old when they are born,       assuming it takes at least a minute to be born. I may have to redo that       formula, it's off the top of my head. In Western society, birthdays are       anniversaries of birth; when a child reaches its first anniversary of       birth (its first birthday) it is 1 years old. Prior to that, it is ...       some fraction of a year old. Unless you count gestation time, which varies.              Zero is for baby clothes sizes. But I still can't understand how a size       00 can be bigger than a size 000. A size 0 must be for a gorilla.              Robert Molyneux wrote:       > Depends whether you count from 0 to 9, or from 1 to 10.       >       > Chinese babies are 1 from the day they are born (i.e., in their first year).       > Western babies are 0 years old until they have passed 365.25 days.       >              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
