   OK, now I got what Tony and Steven were saying: If I modify forms or   
   reports created with v8 using v11, I won't be able to open them any   
   more with v8. Thanks for the warning.   
      
   Since there are over a dozen tables, I suspect it would not really be   
   practical to export them to Excel. But I'm glad to know that can be   
   done if I install the drivers.   
      
   I used to be a power user of Paradox for DOS (and have developed a few   
   applications using Access). If I just want to create a query to merge   
   three or four tables and a couple of reports, will I find the new   
   version very different from what I used to know? Does Paradox still   
   rely heavily on the function keys?
