From: gt3TakeThisAway@bredband.net              I can't understand why "everyone" always must flame Vista/Microsoft every       time this subject comes up?              Delfo - and most of us - will have to face Vista whether we like it or not.       It would be very good if we could get Paradox to run on Vista without       problem.              The errormessage on exit seems to be the major problem we have. The good       thing is that it doesn't really affect the way Paradox runs and only affects       10 & 11. The bad thing is that it doesn't look good and it will be visible       for every user all the time.              We all know that we often have to fight for Paradox, "what is that?" , "why       don't you use x instead?". This stupid errormessage is just the kind of       problem that can brake a deal. "If he can't fix that little thing, how can       we trust the complete application? We better buy something else."              Waiting for the next SP for Vista could of course be a solution but what are       the odds that it will be fixed?              I think the hope lies with Corel actually taking a look at this and we all       know that the chances are not so good...              Anders              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
