   Packing attempts to recover space between records; good when there are   
   deletions.   
      
   Verifying is a Tool that checks for CORRUPTION and such.  If you have fairly   
   heavy usage, I would do this AT LEAST quarterly; weekly wouldn't be out of   
   the question - depending on your situation.  (Take a look at ChimneySweep;   
   it'll make your life easier if you have lots of tables with heavy usage (or   
   if your company depends on the data in Paradox, it might save your   
   sanity/job/company at some point).)   
      
   A pain, perhaps, but nothing like trying to recover thousands of records.   
   (I know - I've done it!)
