From: NSpamPlease_rodney1@bellsouth.net              pdox42,              I wouldn't be holding your breath while you wait for a PAL converter       utility.              All of us who like the "Desktop Database" seem to be in a bit of a       conundrum. Many feel a dire need to migrate away from Paradox for Windows       too... no one within these groups however, appear to have found anything       that fits the bill.              Three or four years ago, I would have told you to migrate to Paradox for       Windows... I couldn't give you the that same advice now without feeling I       was steering you wrong.              Not because it isn't capable and flexable enough.... but merely because       Microsoft's new OS's are presenting the real possibility of breaking it       beyond repair.              Good luck with searching for a replacement database technology.... The only       advice I might give you is to keep your eyes open in the "open source"       arena.                     --       ...        `·.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.·´¯`·-> rodney              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
