|    Unknown internal operating system error    |

From: jmose@mapson.attglobal.net              Thought I'd share a very frustrating problem we've had for the last year or       so, that was finally solved.              We use the Corel Web Server to host a web service. Occassionally, it will       stop working with this error:       Unknown internal operating system error.       File: T:\ResvTrip.db       File: T:\Reserv.db              This has happened 5 or so times in the last year, typically overnight.              Last night, Microsoft released some security updates, and we noticed a message       on the server that it had applied them and rebooted. Since the server       rebooted,       the CWS client lost its network drive, possibly right in the middle of a       conversation, causing the error!              So, we've changed our server to only download the updates, and we'll manually       apply them.              I posted this here so it gets more visibility, though it probably belongs       in pnews.paradox-web.              HTH,       Jim Moseley              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
