   I have experienced similar things, maybe only a couple of times in many,   
   many years, but for some reason a form can get "corrupt" and start behave   
   abnormal. Redoing the form from scratch ha been my solution. When I copy   
   from the old to the new, I never copy the objects but only the code, this to   
   be sure that no corrupt object gets transferred.
