From: jim.giner@suny.edu              I have a table that whenever I want to modify the structure I get a message       "could not find family member" and I can't save my structure changes. It       seems to only occur in one folder. Here's what I did to get around it.              copy CAMPUS to another folder.       create a NEWCAMP table in this other folder.       borrow the structure of campus for newcamp       added my new field to newcamp       save       at this point I could re-open my NEWCAMP table and restructure with no       problem.              now:       copy NEWCAMP back to the proper folder (the place where it gets referenced       by my appls.)       delete my old CAMPUS table in the proper folder       copy NEWCAMP to CAMPUS in the proper folder       try to restructure and I get the could not find family member message when I       try to save the structure change.              AS you can see, it didn't happen until I got back to my original folder and       named it by my original name (campus).              Any ideas?              btw - P5              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
