From: GNoSpam@spamlessWorkplace.rom              Hmm, sounds familiar. Maybe it's a point for Pdox setup FAQ's. Or       maybe it's an issue I'd forgotten about.              I have used this PC for 2+ years, never seen the issue until maybe a       week ago, and thought I had put away drive sleep issue long ago.       Perhaps the last XP update, last week or so, changed my drive sleep       setting?              ~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*       That's a big no-no, if XP tweaks the PC setting without user awareness!       ~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*              At any rate, I will change my drive setting to no-sleep. Thanks!               -GeneM              Tony McGuire wrote:       > Do not allow the OS to turn off the hard drive EVER.       >       > Same with the network card.       >       >       > ------------------------------       > Tony McGuire       >       >       >              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
