From: trevor@nospam.com              Hi Larry              Nothing else is impacted, Query Analyzer etc runs fast as it should do.       Even opening the tables in Paradox Developer and page up and down is fast,       it seems to just be code based access to the tables.              We've done monitoring with a DBA and can find nothing untoward :(              I'll have to see if one of the Access guys can access the SQL tables when       he gets in.              One thing that Leslie suggested yesterday did not fix our issue, and our       Access guys said it broke their application/s, turns out it didn't, it was       just co-incidence.              We've compared SQL settings on both servers like for like, I'm starting to       believe that it's something to with Windows 2003.              This is just so strange!              Thanks to everyone else for their suggestions to date. In the meantime we're       having to convert some of our scripts to SQL statements which fly like the       wind!              Regards              Trevor              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
