|    P9 Installation hassles...?    |
|    02 Feb 10 10:22:20    |
From: usenet@soleSPAMLESSassociates.com              Howdy,              A while ago I had ripped the files from my P9 installation       CD so that I could install from the disk.              I just had to re-install Windows XP on my laptop, installed       a few applications successfully, but when I tried to install       Paradox from the disk, nothing seemed to happen.              That was confusing, but no biggie because I still have the       CD.              But, when I try to install from the CD, again, (almost)       nothing happens. When I double-click on Setup.exe, the disk       starts to spin, there is a momentary change of the cursor to       hourglass, but then nothing further happens.              I have checked and nothing whatever appears in any of the       event viewers, and there are no errors displayed.              In addition, I have added the Paradox installation folders       to the Trusted Zone of my Kaspersky AV.              What should I be trying next?              Sincere thanks for any help,       --       Kenneth              If you email...
