   Job Description :   
      
   Preferred  6 – 8  years’ experience as ETL designer/developer using IBM   
   DataStage   
   Experience with database technologies including one or more of the following -   
   DB2, UDB, SQL Server, Oracle   
   Knowledge of UNIX and Windows operating systems.   
   Working knowledge of XML, C, Perl, Unix Shell   
   Experience with build and deployment processes, experience with Changeman DS a   
   definite asset   
   Act as a liaison between architects and future project team   
   Help resolve issues/remove roadblocks for the project team and/or escalates   
   accordingly    
   Provide status report to the respective Safeway management    
   We are looking out to migrate around 2000 ETL jobs from 8.7 version to 11.5   
   version and wanted to hire a person who is more inclined to automate the   
   process than    
   thinking traditional manual effort.
