   Job Description   
      
   AUTOMATION TEST ENGINEER will work closely with IT Infrastructure Test team to   
   define strategy and processes, bringing automation in line with existing   
   functional aspect of the test effort. This position is responsible to design,   
   build, test and deploy    
   effective test automation solutions… the main focus will be on the test   
   effort not testing coverage. Execution of automated testing for variety of   
   Windows 7/10 Gilead images (customized operating system images) on   
   laptop/desktop and VDIs, computer    
   performance testing, high/low utilization of computing resources as well as   
   system drivers testing.   
      
   Role and Responsibilities   
   • Develop and configure IT Infrastructure Automation Testing Framework for   
   UI, non-UI and embedded systems testing   
   • Coordinate with Test Manager and support engineers to deliver stable   
   enterprise software products   
   • Enhance Infrastructure testing framework and develop automated tests using   
   CI Jenkins to ensure consistency   
   • Contribute to Infrastructure Automation testing framework, tools and   
   technologies   
   • Estimate tasks accurately, analyze and communicate test results with team   
   members for work activities   
   • Conduct automated Functional, Regression, Security, Performance, System,   
   Network and UAT tests according to the Acceptance Criteria   
   • Record test results into management tool   
   • Prepare reusable functions, which improve the robustness, re-usability,   
   and maintainability of their test scripts   
      
   Preferred Skills   
   • Extensive background in Jenkins, Selenium WebDriver, Selenium Grid, QTP,   
   JUnit   
   • Good experience in Python, Java, Shell scripting,   
   • Experience with Desktop Applications automation testing techniques   
   • Knowledge of Infrastructure Automation Tools (e.g. Jenkins CI, Chef,   
   Selenium Web Driver, QTP, Vagrant, AutoIT, TestComplete, LoadRunner)   
   • Code repositories (e.g. GIT), build frameworks/tools (ANT/Maven)   
   • Ability to work across Windows VDIs and cloud resources is strongly desired   
   • Experience with automation testing of Windows Desktop or Mobile Apps is a   
   plus   
   • Familiar with any of Configuration Management tools (e.g. JIRA, HP QC)   
   • Knowledge of Windows systems performance monitoring tools (e.g. Windows   
   Performance Kit, SolarWinds, SCOM)   
   • Highly motivated self-starter with an insatiable desire to learn new   
   technology   
   • Excellent logic, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills   
   • Strong organization and communication skills – both written and verbal   
      
   Not required but helpful:   
   • Network and System Integration testing   
   • Experience writing and maintaining test plans and test cases
