   Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (other duties may be assigned)     
   The Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing Hadoop Developer will act as a   
   strategic and productive member to his/her organization and management by   
   providing creative and innovative ELT processes.  These ELT processes are   
   targeted at improving the    
   overall Data Ingestion system to support Reporting and Analytics for our   
   Customers. Team members work in a fast-paced environment delivering both   
   tactical and strategic technology solutions.    
      
   •	Provide data expertise and guidance to our teams focused on providing   
   self-serve analytic systems.    
   •	Design/Code data processes to comply with Ultimate Software’s   
   architectural standards, software engineering best practices, policies and   
   procedures.    
   •	Envision and create data integration solutions that meet the requirements   
   of the business.   
   •	Provide technical know-how in the creation of a flexible and sustainable   
   Data Ingestion process to load data from our Hadoop based Data Lake to   
   downstream Data Warehouse objects.    
   •	Data Modeling of ODS, OLAP and Data Warehouse data stores at the   
   conceptual and logical levels.    
   •	Strong problem solver that detects and solves issues effectively.    
   •	Research and recommend new ETL technologies that increase the flexibility   
   and speed of the overall Data Ingestion process.    
       
   Required Qualifications/Skills:    
   •	5+ years’ experience, in Analytics and Business Intelligence   
   specifically data ingestion processes and technologies.    
   •	3+ years Hadoop ecosystem experience specifically HDFS, Kafka, Spark and   
   Hive    
   •	Passionate about data, loves to find solutions to problems combing through   
   data    
   •	Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with all   
   levels of staff and management    
   •	Knowledge of Data Warehousing, Data Governance, OLAP and Big Data    
   •	Extremely proficient with SQL    
   •	Multi-discipline methodologies: Agile, Lean, Iterative, Waterfall, TDD    
   •	ETL/ELT experience    
   •	Event based ingestion experience    
   •	Excellent Unit Testing skills    
   •	Great communicator and effectively explains complex issues and concepts in   
   simple, understandable language to technical and business audiences    
   •	Superior skill and ability in multi-tasking and appropriate prioritization    
   •	Drive value by creating technological based data solutions for Business   
   problems and opportunities.    
   •	Aligned with product strategy to develop innovative products that delight   
   our business customers.    
   •	Ability to effectively respond to dynamically changing work environment     
       
   Preferred Qualifications/Skills:    
   •	HCM experience is highly desired   
   •	Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and/or greater    
   •	RabbitMQ    
   •	MongoDB    
   •	Cloud Experience
