   Job: Python Technical Lead    
      
   Location:  Remote or El Segundo, CA (Can work from anywhere in the U.S. -   
   Green Card/U.S. Citizen)   
      
       
      
   We are looking for a Technical Team lead who can work efficiently with teams   
   of analysts and programmers on a large scale, agile project.  The   
   responsibilities include participation in all phases of the software   
   development lifecycle to assist in the    
   migration of existing DCL scripts to Python or other appropriate scripting   
   tools in a Linux environment.  The ideal candidate will work closely with   
   knowledgeable DCL resources to write technical specifications and recommend   
   appropriate scripting tools.     
    Excellent communication skills will be required to coordinate work efforts   
   across multiple teams in remote locations (Denver, Los Angeles, offshore).    
   Ideal candidate will have background/experience in Python core, py modules,   
   CRON and automated jobs,    
   shell scripts on Linux/Unix environment.  Extra consideration will be given to   
   candidates with DCL scripting or Centricity Business familiarity.   
      
       
      
   Responsibilities   
      
   Basic proficiency in Python   
   Solid knowledge of Python capabilities and Python ecosystem (modules, IDE,   
   shell & bash)   
   Prefer knowledge of setting up Linux/Unix environment with Python tools   
   Solid knowledge and experience working with PiCharm & TFS   
   Prefer experience on leading solutions delivery using Python on Linux/RedHat   
   environment   
   Must have sound communication skills   
   Prefer experience/knowledge about creating, configuring and maintaining python   
   automated scripts on Linux environments   
   Prefer experience/knowledge of python modules that interact with operating   
   system for file and ftp related functionalities   
   Must have experience writing technical documentation like TDD, ERD   
   Prefer experience implementing software enhancements and suggesting   
   improvements   
   Prefer knowledge of working with DevOps team and automated deployment pipelines   
   Prefer familiarity with DCL scripting   
   Prefer familiarity with Centricity Business application
