   The Sr. Systems Analyst – Store Systems, while reporting to the IT Project   
   Manager, will function as a senior technical resource and Subject Matter   
   Expert (SME) for application development and design heavily focused on .NET   
   platforms in support of    
   mobile and other digital initiatives.  The Sr .NET Programmer/Architect will   
   work in an Agile environment with the rest of the team to identify current   
   operating procedures, clarify program objectives, and develop detailed   
   specifications for new    
   applications or changes to existing applications that further company goals.   
   He/she will also provide technical guidance to other team members, lead   
   projects, and manage both internal and external resources to ensure   
   deliverables meet time and quality    
   constraints.   
      
       
      
   DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:  List the principal duties and responsibilities   
   and the percentage of time associated with each.   
      
       
      
   1.     Architects, designs, codes (.Net), tests and documents new and/or   
   existing applications, adhering to Dollar General standards. Very well versed   
   in JavaScript and other web based technologies, languages, frameworks, and   
   platforms.

   2.     Writes and assembles unit level design specifications.

   3.     Assists in development of user documentation and training procedures.

   4.     Identifies technical enhancements and new development based on business   
   needs

   5.     Supports existing systems during business hours and on-call

   6.     Ensures quality of development by other team members.

   7.     Recommends and documents work flow improvements.

   KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:  List the preferred knowledge and skills.   
      
       
      
   1.     Excellent written and oral communication skills.   
      
   2.     Thorough knowledge of .Net programming language and database (Oracle   
   preferred), especially as it pertains to REST based services and ASP.NET   
   WebAPI technology.   
      
   3.     Understands the Agile process as it relates to SCRUM.   
      
   4.     Expertise in writing REST based services using C# and returning and   
   consuming JSON.   
      
   5.     Proactive identification and communication of programming and/or design   
   issues.   
      
   6.     Ability to meet deadlines while resolving minor project problems.   
      
   7.     Team player and passion for learning new technologies and mentoring   
   others   
      
   8.     Customer service driven   
      
       
      
   WORK EXPERIENCE and/or EDUCATION:  List the preferred work experience and/or   
   education.   
      
       
      
   ·         A degree in Computer Science or demonstrated background included 8   
   or more years of relevant experience in applicable programming language.   
      
   ·         .NET Framework, ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, WCF, WebAPI, SQL (SQL server   
   and/or Oracle), Web Services, HTML5   
      
   ·         Database modeling and data architecture concepts a plus.   
      
   ·         Experience working in an Agile environment and sizing and coding to   
   user stories
