   Job Title: Business Data Analyst   
      
   Location: Raleigh, NC

   Job Responsibilities:   
      
   Design and maintain ongoing analytics and metrics that measure the   
   effectiveness of risk and controllership activities.   
      
   Build holistic compliance analytics dashboards to measure key performance and   
   risk indicators.   
      
   Conduct analytics to support operational, financial, and IT audit test work.   
      
   Provide support on special projects and ad hoc requests.   
      
   Leverage data analytics to provide strategic insights to senior management on   
   potential risk mitigation strategies.   
      
   Help identify data gaps from downstream and upstream source systems.   
      
   Work with IT partners to improve data quality and governance with the goal of   
   delivering value add data for analytics.   
      
   Other duties/special projects based on needs of the business.   
      
      
      
   QUALIFICATIONS   
      
   Proven ability with data analytics, interpretation, and reporting with a high   
   level of accuracy.   
      
   Strong analytical skills, including the ability to aggregate and analyse a   
   large amount of data from various sources.   
      
   Capable of pruning data to discard irrelevant information.   
      
   Ability to understand relationships across business, risk, and performance   
   measurements.   
      
   Leverage understanding of relationships to generate new ideas and take   
   ownership of implementation.   
      
   Working knowledge of database technologies (e.g. ODBC, Access, SQL)   
      
   Self-starter who excels working with little supervision.   
      
   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to   
   interact effectively with a wide variety of departments including IT.   
      
   Good problem solver/creative thinker.   
      
   Ability to prioritize assignments, deal with interruptions, and meet deadlines   
   in a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment.   
      
   Exercise sound judgment when making decisions.   
      
   Positive attitude, pro-active and resourceful.   
      
      
      
   EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE   
      
   Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience.   
      
   Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science,   
   Quantitative analytics, mathematics, or related technical field.
