   A fortune 500 retailer is hiring software engineers to help create a   
   personalized acquisition engine.  The Senior Software Engineer will have the   
   opportunity to help the company shape their acquisition strategy, creating   
   state of art software    
   applications, optimize machine learning models, and drive big data initiatives.   
      
       
      
   Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities   
      
       
      
   ·         Collaborate with business team to understand company needs and   
   devise possible engineering solutions   
      
   ·         Build end-to-end application in the areas of personalization,   
   machine learning, data engineering and campaign optimization   
      
   ·         Develop QC/testing and new features based on business requirements   
      
   ·         Lead and provide Technical support to offshore team who will be   
   doing data engineering and building scalable production framework   
      
       
      
   Technical Qualifications   
      
       
      
   ·         Strong Python programming and syntax knowledge with data product   
   development experience required   
      
   ·         Experience building and deployment of highly reliable and   
   fault-tolerant software products   
      
   ·         Technical team management experience required   
      
   ·         More than 3 years of experience working in collaborative   
   environment with other engineers   
      
   o    Git/Source Control   
      
   o    Pull requests/Code reviews   
      
   ·         Testing exposure required   
      
   o    Unit test   
      
   o    Regression test   
      
   o    Continuous integration   
      
   ·         Experience with cloud computing (AWS/Azure/Google cloud) preferred   
      
   ·         Experience with automating ML/Data pipelines preferred   
      
   ·         Experience with PySpark preferred   
      
   ·         Modeling experience preferred (Uplift modeling, propensity score   
   matching, Linear/Logistic Regression and other supervised and unsupervised   
   algorithms)
