   Design and configuration of large-scale data networking infrastructures (e.g.,   
   Routers, Firewalls, VPN’s, Servers, and switches)   
      
   Solid understanding of distributed systems architecture and their operating   
   systems in addition to network management systems   
      
   Expert troubleshooting proficiency with data infrastructure (e.g., Routers,   
   Switches) and network securities (e.g., Firewall, and IDS)   
      
   Expert proficiency with dynamic routing protocols (EIGRP, and BGP)   
      
   Ability to develop and implement system management tools and processes such as   
   Entuity, Cisco Prime, Cisco ISE and Netbrain.   
      
   5-7 years’ work experience in a network infrastructure/network environment   
   and distributed/telephony systems environment   
      
   Experience working in a large, complex corporate environment   
      
   Preferred certifications – CCNA or CCNP   
      
   Below are expected deliverables from this role   
      
   Network Hardware configuration   
      
   Cisco router/switch and Nexus 2k, 5k, 7k)   
      
   Ability to triage, evaluate and resolve Network trouble tickets   
      
   Submitting Network Services change request/task as according to established   
   procedure   
      
   After hours on call (8 weeks / year)   
      
   Carrier service provisioning   
      
   Network Management application support   
      
   Viavi Sniffer admin / support   
      
   MRV Out of band hardware   
      
   Uplogix Out of Band devices   
      
   Entuity Network Monitor   
      
   Cisco Prime   
      
   NetBrain   
      
   Live Action   
      
   Splunk   
      
   Xmatters Notification Services   
      
   Customer communication and planning to support changes and troubleshooting   
      
   Attend project and vendor meetings   
      
   Provide written status reports to provide project milestone updates
