From: telecomdigestsubmissions@remove-this.telecom-digest.org              State and Local regulations require all Telecom Service Providers that       deliver dial tone service provide Enhanced 911 (E911) services to       their customers.              The E911 database contains the Master Street Address Guide (MSAG) and       Emergency Service Number (ESN) information.              It is the responsibility of the E911 Provider to assign, maintain and       resolve discrepancies in MSAG data for their service area. The E911       Customer is also responsible for providing new address information and       changes to address information to the Incumbent Local Exchange Carrier       (ILEC ) data vendor for updating to the MSAG database.              It is the responsibility of all telecommunication companies (wireless       and wireline) participating in an E911 service area to ensure that all       data records sent to the E911 host database have an MSAG valid       address. Each telecommunication company will work directly with the       E911 Customer to resolve any address discrepancies.              https://ease.lumen.com/Document/WebHelp/e911.htm              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
