   During the drive down State Road 72 from Sarasota to DeSoto County,   
   strip malls fade away, traffic gets lighter and nature begins to take   
   hold. The congested rush of the city is replaced by Myakka River State   
   Park, followed by pastoral farmland. It's a green and tranquil ride,   
   aside from a couple sections of rough road.
