   The Swiss provider Sunrise will switch off GSM on 3rd Jan 2023.   
      
   3G (UMTS) is still available, but the plan is to switch it off in the   
   next 4-5 years.   
      
   Swisscom and Salt plan to switch off 3G further, they switched off 2G   
   in 2021.   
      
   Austrian Magenta Telekom will switch off UMTS on 1st Jan 2024. GSM   
   will stay available.   
      
   A1 announces to switch off 3G at the end of 2024.
