   The existing "major" toolkits (GTK+, Qt, wxwidge, fltk... etc) are not   
   too bad -- especially for large apps (since these frameworks are also   
   kind of large and complicated; ok, fltk is sort of in the opposite   
   direction) -- but still, IMHO nothing really seems to have hit the   
   "sweet spot" for a nice small portable GUI framework.   
      
   So I think there's still room for new entrants... :]
