   Temporaries do not get cleaned up just because we reach a sequence   
   point. From n3242:   
      
   12.2/3   
   "Temporary objects are destroyed as the last step   
   in evaluating the full-expression (1.9) that (lexically) contains the   
   point where they were created."   
      
   Calling a function is part of a "full-expression" and a   
   "full-expression" can contain more than one sequence point.
