   It's not about typing speed; it's about look-up speed.  An analogy:   
   would you rather search for a person in a paper telephone book or,   
   for example, in a flat text file?  Typing accuracy is also a bonus.

   Of course, in the short term, I'm also more productive in C++.  In the   
   long run, the product enters a maintenance phase, and then I'm more   
   productive when I have tools that enable me to quickly find out what   
   and how I (or somebody else) did something 6, 12, 18 months ago.
