   Well said! That's why I think IDE's could really do a better job of regexp   
   support. Oh, the pain, every time I need to do regexpy things with Visual   
   Studio. (Think: escape sequences for all those parens.)   
      
   Btw.: Is there a code/text editor that can do regexp Search&Replace *and* has   
   the ability to do instant highlighting of all regexp matches in the current   
   source file? The trial&error needed to find the right pattern (escape   
   sequences and all) in VS is    
   really getting on my nerves. :-)
