As it turns out, an anti-spam measure by the provider hosting the
moderation software is blocking outgoing messages containing gmail.com
and a few other major email domains (hotmail.com, live.com, yahoo.com,
aol.com, earthlink.net) in the 'From:' header.

For now, to ensure approved articles are propagated, we've installed a
filter that rewrites the email addresses in the 'From:' header.
'@gmail.com' is changed to '@googlemail.com'; the other blacklisted
domains we know about are changed to a non-existing domain name. We
hope to find a more permanent solution soon.

On behalf of the moderation team,
