   I fully agree.  I guess part of the problem is how dependency injection   
   is preached in the Java world, where it often comes along with framework   
   lock-in, JVM voodoo, replacing code with XML, bean-style class   
   interfaces, and other bad things.  The essence of dependency injection   
   has nothing to with that; it is a simple, powerful design pattern that   
   we should all love and use.
