   Someone mentioned the other day the cost of changing compilers. This is   
   just the kind of thing you find - a bug gets fixed, and your code   
   fails... Though ISTR raising something once and being told that as so   
   much code depended on the bug they weren't going to fix it.   
      
   The one that bit us was when they (correctly) made iterators into set   
   constant. We had to work around that, as we had objects that implemented   
   an operator< and also had data irrelevant to the compare that we wanted   
   to update. IMHO this is a specification bug, but I appear to be in a   
   minority.
