   I say it does.   
      
   Someone reading your post (more than 8 months ago) might easily   
   have inferred that comp.std.c has some official standing with   
   the ISO C committee. I agree that comp.std.c is probably a more   
   appropriate place to post suggestions for changes to the standard.
