   Not then, no.  Why would I want to take on, as a prelude to doing what   
   *I* wanted to do, engaging with and defeating the apparently organized   
   intentions of he people selling the product?   
      
   Of course I later knew people writing code for the Mac.  But I have no   
   regrets about casually abandoning any notion of trying to break into   
   and then work in Mac's walled garden.
