   Odds are your car's media system uses qnx.  Your laser printer and toaster   
   might use VxWorks.  Satellites and aircraft use cFS.  Lots of places where   
   people care about reliability and verifiability use microkernels.

   No, I am talking about the XNU stuff that sits below the BSD layer in OSX.
