   I don't know what he said, but most of what he posts is incorrect so it   
   would not be surprising.   
      
   If you're using a VOIP app on an iPad (or on an iPhone) it's using data,   
   be it LTE or 5G. It's not VoLTE. There could be issues with this if   
   you're in an area where your data connection is not great or if you're   
   on deprioritized data on an MVNO. VoLTE gets priority for calls, even on   
   deprioritized data (QCI9).
