I have Signia hearing aids and the Signia app will control them, but the
Accessibility feature in iOS can do so much more than the app can. I can
control incoming calls and have them go directly to the hearing aids, Live
Talk allows me to hand my phone over to someone and let them talk into that
so I can hear them (useful in noisy environments like restaurants), and
several other features. All controlled by the Control Center or triple
   tapping the Lock button.
