As long as the computer can easily       run an email app, a web browser, and some sort of word processor and       spreadsheet, they're happy. Mostly it is whatever software that comes       free / bundled with the computer.              Businesses that use custom apps may need to be able to run older       software, but most businesses users don't care either - they just buy       new equipment and new software, and write it off their taxes as a       "business expense".              A tiny minority of people that want to keep using old apps are the only       ones who even know such a problem even exists.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
