   I updated to iPadOS 16.7.3 with no issues the moment I had seen Ant's post.

   Just curious why you'd want to get any other version but the "latest"   
   available to you, which for older devices is something less than iOS 17.

   every minute of every day of the rest of my life, nor have I proved to   
   Apple my government ID so that they could take away my privacy again.   
      
     AppleID is locked by Apple   
     Password was always good   
     Apple wants a gov license!!!   
     Then, iCloud works again   
     Then, Messages works again
