   The EU does what they do to Apple (and Google too, and others), not because   
   they love their consumers (who are responsible for their own buying   
   choices, and deserve the consequences for better or worse), but because   
   those are huge and profitable American companies. It's their version of   
   protectionism, hogtie with red tape.
