   "No troll August" is a really strange way of saying "allowing trolls to   
   lie, belittle, and so on for a month here without objection".

   When a newsgroup is run by trolls, it becomes just another lame advocacy   
   newsgroup, where friendly mature conversation isn't welcome and sensible   
   people just stay away as a result.
