They call anyone sensibly logical "Arlen" where you have to wonder why.
   I've studied them for years.

Basically, if you say anything that Apple doesn't tell you to say, then
you're "Arlen" to them. That's just how their rather strange minds work.

Moving forward, I seem to be the only one who posted on-topic responses.

Given I assess that I know iOS & Android better'n almost anyone on this
newsgroup, my assessments are apopos although the YouTube video only
   repeated the propaganda.

The facts are that iOS is no safer than any other operating system.

The facts are that iOS is designed as a dumb terminal in that almost
nothing you like in the ecosystem works without logging into Cupertino.

The facts are that iPhones lack basic industry standard hardware.

The facts are that Apple's hotfix support is the worst among the major
competitors (such as when compared with the Pixel & Samsung Galaxies).

For me, one of the biggest differences between the iPhone ecosystem and the
Android ecosystem is the inability of the iPhone to run basic software.

All of that is true, but the video didn't cover any of that correctly.
In fact, the video claims iOS is safer, when, clearly, it is not.

What's telling is we gave up all our functionality for safety.
And we got no safety out of the deal.

   Apple profited.
   We didn't.

Having said all that, Android has its problems too.
But most of those problems (e.g., fragmentation) are avoided if you stick
with the competitors to the iPhone such as the Galaxy & Pixel phones.

Although even those have followed Apple's lead of removing basic
functionality so that you'll spend your money on them in order to get it
   all back.
