   Dunno the answer to your question but wonder if you would solve your problem   
    and save money at the same time by getting rid of the landline? Some years   
    back I got rid of my landline because with WiFi calling my cell phone (and   
    the iPhone that lives in my house) had just as good service as the   
    landline. Course that would require both your phone and cell service have   
    the capability. If not a change might still save you some cash...
